Friday's Keynote Speaker: Jennifer Grief Green, PhD:
Jennifer Greif Green is an Associate Professor of Special Education in the School of Education at Boston University and a child clinical psychologist. Dr. Green completed her doctorate at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Prior to joining BU, she trained at Yale School of Medicine and in the Department of Health Care Policy at Harvard Medical School. Her research focuses on school-based mental health services for students with emotional and behavioral disorders and, specifically, the role of teachers in identifying, supporting, and referring students, as one way to reduce disparities in mental health service access. Dr. Green also studies school bullying and co-leads the Social Adjustment and Bullying Prevention Laboratory at BU (www.bu.edu/bullying). She specializes in assessing bullying and determining how assessments can be used to inform school safety planning. She has collaborated with a number of school districts to provide feedback on student mental health and bullying experiences.
